There's potential here ... I hope

Christopher is taking a Life Sciences class that is really great - he loves it, and his teacher loves him. His first project is to create a "cell model" - he and his partner get to choose between a plant cell and an animal cell. They chose the plant cell, and we've tracked down most of the parts to make it.

I don't know if I'll be able to get a picture of the finished product or not. Everything in it is plant-based somehow (we're stretching it a bit with the Cherry flavored Nerds candy, I guess) and perishable, so they have to put it all together on their lunch hour before Science class on Monday.

So I thought it would be fun to include a picture of the ingredients, along with a picture of the illustration from his book, and let you use your imagination.
