Bug had a science project due today ... so we started it over the weekend, of course. :))

Luckily, he has a natural curiosity and the ability to develop a good story, so this turned out to be fun. It's titled "Just a tadpole in a pond," and the premise is that every species is important to the ecosystem of which it is a part; everyone has a job to do.

He caught tadpoles from Grandpa's pool (thanks Grandpa!) with Grammie's help (thanks Grammie!), then we got some wrigglers (mosquito larvae) from down near the hangar. He set up two "ponds" - one with tadpoles and wrigglers, and one with just wrigglers. The idea is that the tadpoles are necessary to keep the mosquito population down, etc.

PDF of the board layout is attached, I forgot to take pictures this morning. You'll have to check it out to see how the experiment turned out. :)
